I would like to take this time to welcome everyone to my site, tkillTuts. I have a passion for Content Management Systems (CMS) and sharing information with everyone. This website is setup primarly for tutorials on working with Joomla!, WordPress, and Drupal. However, expect some other CMS software tutorials to be posted as well.
Recently, in version 1.15.0/2.15.0 of UpdraftPlus, the company added a new feature for the plugin called UpdraftClone. We know from the Taking WordPress Backups: With UpdraftPlus tutorial that I really like the plugin and use it on my WordPress sites. In this blog we will go over what UpdraftClone is and how it works.
With WordPress 5.0 schedule for release in 2018 there is a lot to look forward to. One of the new features is a brand new content editor named Gutenberg. This editor is setup similar to popular page builders where you have content blocks and they build on each other. This should make content creation for posts much more user friendly.
I was introduced to Koken a few years ago when looking over ways to create a portfolio for a photographer. While there were a lot of hosting options and WordPress, Koken stood out for being a stand alone solution that would work across multiple hosts. After playing around with it, I fell in love with how simple and intuitive it was. Today, I would like to share Koken with you and show you how interesting it really is.
